Matthew S Robinson LLB(Hons)
Principal and Head of the Injury Department
Matthew is the Principal and founder of Robinson’s
Solicitors.
Matthew heads up the litigation department and has over 10
years experience dealing with all types of injury and
litigation claims.
Matthew studied his law degree in Sheffield and completed
his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester.
Matthew established Robinson’s Solicitors in 2009 with the
aim of providing an unrivalled service in the provision of
legal solutions.
Matthew has a special interest in the local community and is
a Clerk for a local Parish Council.
Having two children under the age of three, Matthew forgets
what it is like to have spare time, let alone do something

Patrick McLoughney LLB
Consultant
Patrick is the Head of our non-contentious department
dealing with domestic and commercial conveyancing and Wills
and Probate.
Patrick has over 35 years experience as a solicitor. Before
joining Robinson’s Solicitors Patrick was a partner for 29
years in the law firm Thurman and Leaver.

Alvina Zia
Assistant Solicitor
Alvina is the head of our private immigration and consumer
law department. Alvina is fluent in Hindi and Urdu and has
extensive knowledge and practical experience in representing
clients in all aspects of immigration litigation.
Alvina studied her law degree at Wolverhampton University
and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of
Law in Chester. Before joining Robinson’s Solicitors Alvina
worked for CIS Legal Services in Manchester.
In her spare time Alvina enjoys cooking, traveling, and
world cinema. She is a keen reader and enjoys Indian
classical music.

Anne Hardman
Head of Support
We have an excellent support team which is headed by Anne.
Anne has worked within all aspects of the legal system for
over 35 years. Anne has extensive experience in conveyancing,
wills and probate. Anne enables the administration and
reception departments to look after our clients’ best
interests.
Anne is often the first contact Clients have with the Firm.
She creates a friendly and caring approach which enables
clients to discuss their legal problems, no matter how
difficult.
Anne is a valuable member of our Team.

Michael McLoughney
Finance and Operations Manager
Michael is the head of our finance and operations team.
Michael ensures that the firm meets its growth and
development plans.
Before joining Robinson’s Solicitors Michael spent 11 years
as office manager for a long established Blackpool legal
